Risks of Using a Free VPN for FireStick
Normally I would not recommend using free VPNs, but the amount of request I received was overwhelming.
Apart from the free VPNs that I have discussed above, I want you to know that why free VPNs are not always good.
1. Insecure and Vulnerable
I would never let anyone jeopardize my security and privacy, so why would you?
These free VPN providers do not have high-end security protocols like the paid ones. They have DNS leaks and weak protocols, which could easily leak your data, your identity to authorities.
These VPNs keep logs, which is the biggest threat to your online freedom.
Moreover, they are subject to many controversies like recorded user data and then selling it to authorities and organizations. This is something that breaks the user trust, and I would never opt for such a service provider.
2. Small Server Networks
Another reason why I do not recommend free ones is because of the limited server network.
Limited server connection means that you have less chance to bypass geo-restrictions. If it does not let you unblock an app or a website, then the VPN is of no use.
3. Slow Speed
As for streaming, if you are someone who can compromise on the streaming speed, then be my guest and try any free VPN.
You will not have that amazing experience that you wish to have because there will be too much load on their servers. Millions of people will be trying to access the same server.
Conclusion
Amazon FireStick is loaded with tons of features and apps that have made it popular among the streamers. To enjoy all of its features, you must use a VPN.
Now, since I have listed the free VPNs for FireStick, I would want you to stick to any of these and not outside of it.
The reason why I say this is because you do not know whether a VPN is spying on your data or not. You don’t even know if they are offering secure encryption.
The list has been clearly evaluated and then ranked accordingly.
